Our motto is, “ Pilot Rock Christian School , guiding your child in knowledge and faith.” We strive to provide quality Christian education while maintaining small class sizes with close student / teacher interaction at affordable tuition rates.

Mission:

Pilot Rock Christian School, a ministry of Ashland Christian Fellowship, promotes academic excellence and faith in Jesus Christ. The spiritual thread of a loving relationship with Christ is emphasized, along with the children’s mental, emotional, social, and physical needs. Pilot Rock Christian School strives to minister to the families of its community by providing parents the option of educating their children with Christ as the center of their development.

Background:

Originally founded in 1988 as a mission of Grace Lutheran Church of Ashland, Pilot Rock Christian School (formerly Grace Lutheran School) has been serving the families and youth of Southern Oregon for nearly 20 years.

In 2004 Pilot Rock School moved to new and larger classroom facilities in the River Gate Church of Ashland at 188 Garfield Street. This move allowed us to expand our services to include younger preschoolers (age 2-1/2) as well as offering traditional preschool and elementary programs.

Through God's grace Pilot Rock Christian School became a mentoring ministry of Grace Christian School of Medford in 2005. We are excited about the incredible opportunities that lie ahead for program offerings and continuing our tradition of pursuing a truly Christ centered curriculum. In the Fall of 2007, we will be moving our facilities to the campus of Ashland Christian Fellowship. We will be offering pre-school through Kindergarten classes.

Funding:

In addition to tuition, we depend on donations and fundraising to help meet our expenses.

Enrollment & Staff:

We currently have a total of 34 students enrolled in programs ranging from preschool through kindergarten with four certified teachers, a Director, and an after school caregiver who all love the Lord. We humbly serve our children, daily sharing Jesus with them.

The Future:

With God all things are possible. Over the next few years we plan to create individual classes in the 1^st through 2nd grade levels and to offer additional grade levels, programs and services as we prayerfully build upon our relationship with Ashland Christian Fellowship.
